達賢圖書館五週年

—回顧與展望—

 

2019111日是達賢圖書館與政大師生們初相見的日子,

還記得8點開館前門外的排隊人龍、呼朋引伴來開箱。

一轉眼五年過去了,經過試營運、正式營運到夜間開館,

加上肺炎疫情的衝擊,達賢圖書館在變動中調整、在探索中成長。

2024111日就是歲生日了,

除感念司徒達賢老師在校時的諄諄教誨,

尹衍樑學長及眾多學長姐慷慨捐贈、回饋母校的心意,

也邀請您一同來回顧過往的印記、寫下對未來的期許,

讓達賢圖書館開展、延續更多美好的下一個五年。

November 1, 2019, marked the first encounter between Dah Hsian Seetoo Library and the faculty and students of National Chengchi University. We vividly recall the long lines of eager visitors waiting outside the doors before the 8 a.m. opening, friends calling out to one another to come and explore the new library. In the blink of an eye, five years have passed. From our trial operations to official openings, and even late-night sessions, the Dah Hsian Seetoo Library has navigated challenges, including the unprecedented disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic, adapting and growing through exploration.

On November 1, 2024, we will celebrate our 5th anniversary. At this moment, we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for the teachings of Professor Dah-Hsian William Seetoo during his time at the university. We also extend our appreciation to alumnus Mr. Samuel Yin and many other alumni for their generous donations and unwavering support of their alma mater. We invite you to join us in reflecting on the library's journey and sharing your hopes for the future as the Dah Hsian Seetoo Library embarks on its next five years of growth and excellence.
